Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- Finishing building materials producers in the DPRK are intensifying a technological innovation campaign to boost both the quality and quantity of products. By doing so, they are ensuring the smooth supply of building materials needed for regional construction.

The Rason Building Materials Factory installed a new dust arrester in the shipping process and established an integrated production system, thereby reducing the waste of cement with less manpower and producing building materials in time.

The Rason Recycling Station established a process for recycling waste oil and produced tile releasing agent in order to ensure the quality of cement colored tiles and the gloss degree and compression strength of artificial marbles needed for floor construction with a rational raw material-mixing ratio.

The North Phyongan Provincial General Building-Materials Factory has produced quality furniture and paint to meet the demand of the province, and the Wonsan City Commercial Management Office has made the products with water-proofing and heat resistance with the locally available raw materials.

The Hyesan Essential Plastic Goods Production Station is increasing the productivity of various kinds of plastic goods by strengthening its technical force, and the Kaesong Building-Materials and Daily-Necessities Factory developed mixed colored mortar based on domestic raw materials to make progress in the domestic production of exterior finishing ornament building materials. -0-
