Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- Precious successes have been made in implementing the educational policy of the Workers' Party of Korea amid the accelerated all-people struggle for implementing the decisions of the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK at the year end.

More than 1 270 schools, branch schools and kindergartens were built and remodeled into the ones of model level across the DPRK and more than 13 100 classrooms were updated into multi-functional ones above the medium grade. As a result, the goal of remodeling and modernizing the educational facilities in the field of general education set forth at the plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the WPK was attained.

The educational sites for the younger generation have been successfully provided thanks to the struggle of officials and working people across the country who are upholding the noble intention of the Party with loyalty and practical successes of patriotism. -0-
