Screams of Losers Overwhelmingly Defeated in Korean War

Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Under the outstanding leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the DPRK people and the service personnel of the People's Army defeated the U.S. imperialist aggressors boasting of being the world's "strongest" in the past Fatherland Liberation War (June 1950-July 1953) and performed the unprecedented myth of wining victory in the war.

At the time when the DPRK people and the service personnel shouted the hurrah of victory, the losers in the abyss of ruin made jargon of distress.

The then U.S. army general Taft said that it is quite natural that the U.S. suffered defeat in Korea and no army in the world is strong enough to defeat the Korean People's Army. And the then U.S. Secretary of State Marshall lamented that the myth has collapsed and the U.S. was not the strong country as others thought.

The then Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Bradley admitted about their defeat in the war that the Korean war was a wrong war with a wrong rival at the wrong time and in the wrong place.

Commanders of the "UN Forces" MacArthur and Ridgway deplored that "the reputation of the U.S. has never fallen to the ground as now in the world since its foundation" and "the U.S. should never forget the bitter mistake and lesson learnt in the Korean war and the truce talks in Korea."

The then Commander of the U.S. forces in the Far East and Commander of the "UN Forces" Clark raised a cry of distress, confessing that he had tasted defeat, felt indescribable frustration after signing the truce agreement and he even wept silently.

The preceding commanders MacArthur and Ridgway must have felt the same feelings, he added.

Eisenhower, the then U.S. president, appeared at press after signing ceremony of the truce agreement and said in a sad tone that the U.S. paid great price which was tragic and bitter experience.

The testimonies of losers who suffered overwhelming defeat in the Korean war and left shameful disgrace and dishonour further highlight the significance of the great V-Day shining with the symbol of sure victory of the DPRK. -0-
