Rodong Sinmun on Inevitability of Ruin of Capitalism

Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun notes in an article on Wednesday that in capitalist countries where the bourgeois ideology and culture are rampant, exploitation and plunder have been regarded as brag and conscience and labor as contempt and immorality and corruption and dissolute and depraved life are rampant and consciousness of national discrimination, racism and misanthropy are being stoked.

The relationship of daily-growing distrust, antagonism, hatred and hostility in those countries is an outcome of the bourgeois ideology and culture, the article says, and goes on:

The bourgeois ideology and culture mass-produce mental cripples in capitalist society every day and moment.

Their reactionary nature is that they paralyze the people's spirit of independence and class consciousness and deform their creative ability, thus reducing them into slaves of capital and labor tools.

The bourgeois ideology and culture are based on extreme individualism.

Individualism makes people beasts leaving no means and methods untried for their own interests.

It is inherent physiology of the reactionary ideology and culture based on individualism to incite the misanthropy, the jungle law of life and the extreme luxury.

The bourgeois ideology and culture are a dangerous poison that completely erodes society.

In capitalist society, education, science, literature and arts, media and others all reflect the reactionary and vulgar customs and thoughts and feelings of the capitalist class and serve as means for oppressing and exploiting the working masses and making them unenlightened.

As a result of the spread of all sorts of corrupt life style by bourgeois propaganda means, disorder and confusion have been created and the horror-ridden atmosphere prevails in capitalist society.

Without sound ideology and culture, one cannot talk about genuine human life nor think about the development of noble civilization of society and mankind.

If a man degenerates ideologically and morally, he is hard to revive; if a nation does so, the country will go downhill and ruin. This is the law of history.

It is inevitable that capitalism dominated by the corrupt bourgeois ideology and culture will perish. -0-
