Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK is directing big efforts to strengthening the foundation for milk production.
The province set a stage-by-stage goal for building stockbreeding bases well and revitalizing their production and increased the number of dairy cattle and goats 1.5 times as compared with last year.

Songnim City increased the number of dairy cattle 1.3 times.
Stockbreeding units in the counties of Kumchon and Pongsan set reasonable times for grazing and improved the nutrition of goats, thus providing a guarantee for normalizing milk production.
The Hwangju Dairy Cattle Farm and the Unjong Stockbreeding Farm under the provincial rural economy committee laid a foundation for increasing the milk output by breeding well the dairy cattle and goats of supra-species.
The counties of Sinphyong and Junghwa have established the quality inspection system for dairy products and solved problems arising in processing and storage, thus increasing their productivity. -0-
