Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- The work to improve the quality of products is brisk at the modern regional-industry factories, which were built as the first entities of the regional rejuvenation.

The Songchon County Foodstuff Factory produces quality syrup, jam and jelly with chestnuts, special products of the county.

The line for producing chestnut processed goods won the food safety management system certificate in last August.

The laundry soap produced by the Kujang County Daily Necessities Factory is popular among users.

The factory established a scientific production system and, on this basis, ran the whole process of production from oil refining to laundry soap shaping as required by technical regulations and standard operating method, thus significantly improving the quality of laundry soaps.

The Kosan County Garment Factory ensures that its employees go among inhabitants to grasp what shapes and colors of clothes they like and produce excellent designs and samples through mass discussion. Recently, different shapes of seasonal men's and women's clothes have been produced according to the tastes of inhabitants.

Chestnut syrup, chestnut jam, laundry soap and men's padded clothes presented by the above-said factories to the light industrial goods exhibition "Development of Light Industry-2025"  were registered as February 2 goods. -0-
