South Hwanghae Province has pushed ahead with reinforcement of levee of rice paddies, canalizing and repair of embankment while taking preventive measures appropriate to local topographic features and precipitation.

South Phyongan and North Hwanghae provinces are concentrating on the prevention of damage to crops by heavy rain and strong wind while applying advanced manuring methods.
