Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- The 2024 provincial building materials exhibition opened in the DPRK.

On display at the exhibition, held on the theme of "Let us carry out construction of regional-industry factories and rural construction by our own building materials!" are more than 25 000 products of over 180 kinds needed for regional and rural construction.

Officials and experts of relevant ministries and national agencies will assess the qualitative and quantitative level of building materials production in all provinces by learning about the modernization level of their building materials production processes, the variety of products, etc.

An opening ceremony took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on Dec. 3.

Present there were Vice Premier Pak Hun, Chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology Kim Song Bin, Minister of Construction and Building-Materials Industry So Jong Jin, and officials, technicians and experts of building-materials production units in each province, city and county.
