Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- A potato farina production base equivalent to the production capacity of the Samjiyon Potato Farina Production Factory is now under construction in Paekam County, Ryanggang Province of the DPRK.

If the construction of the factory is finished, it would mass- produced processed potatoes like potato noodles, potato chips and potato twist as well as potato farina.

The construction of the main production building is now entering the final stage and the construction of potato storehouse is progressing apace.

The officials and workers involved in the construction successfully carried out the huge earth removal, foundation and frame projects.

They are introducing technical innovation proposals for accelerating the next-stage project qualitatively by pooling their creative wisdom. And they are ensuring the project speed while raising their technical knowledge and skills.

The relevant units have made good results in manufacturing and assembling tens of kinds of equipment including conveyor, dryer and mixer. -0-
