Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Lots of people have visited the Sinhung Area Revolutionary Battle Site in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.

Officials, working people, youth and students across the country, including the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the provincial people's committee, the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Hamhung University of Chemical Engineering, Wonsan University of Agriculture, and Phyongsong Teachers Training College, and service personnel made a study tour of the revolutionary battle site this year.

The Sinhung Area Revolutionary Battle Site is associated with the leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung who organized and guided the activities of small units, groups and political workers of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and aroused the people to the all-people resistance for national liberation.

Making rounds of the venue of the Sambatsan Meeting and the Tongogol Secret Camp, the visitors recalled the exploits of the peerlessly great man who made a historic speech "For a Fresh Upsurge in the Revolutionary Struggle in the Homeland" before the political workers of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and chiefs of underground revolutionary organizations in September 1937 and built a powerful revolutionary fortress in the homeland.

They went round with deep emotion the cemetery of unknown soldiers and the site of the guerrillas room and the tree bearing slogan "Follow General Kim Il Sung, the great brilliant commander of the world" at the Parungol Revolutionary Battle Site.

Contests of singing revolutionary songs in chorus and meetings to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas during the study tour more firmly instilled into the visitors the fighters' spirit of devotedly defending the leader, ardent patriotism and invariable faith. -0-
