Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- The Puhung Cement Factory in the DPRK is boosting the socialist emulation to attain the goal of cement production for this year.

The factory installed another rotary cylindrical crusher and has overhauled speed reducers while introducing a PLC control system of production lines and ensuring full operation of belt conveyors to save lots of manpower and increase the transport capacity.

Its workers and technicians have put the inspection of equipment on a normal basis and operated equipment and machines as required by standard operating methods and technical rules, thus producing a large amount of cement every day.

The mine workteam has directed efforts to the management of equipment for raising the actual operation rate of heavy trucks, excavators and other machines to provide a guarantee for increased production.

Workers and technicians engaged in the calcination system have registered 1.2 times more production results as against the same period of last year and the raw material workteam has ensured the quality of cement while keeping scientific and technological requirements. -0-
