Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- The Taean Friendship Glass Factory in the DPRK has fulfilled the daily plate glass production plan at 105 percent.

While ensuring the normal operation of equipment by establishing a well-regulated checking and repairing system, the factory puts efforts into technical innovation to raise productivity and guarantee the quality of products in every process.

The production control room makes sure that every process-specific facilities are operated according to the standard method, while taking appropriate measures for all circumstances.

The hydrogen and nitrogen workshop and the plate glass workshop have strictly repaired equipment in advance and introduced inventions into the operation of equipment, thus boosting daily production.

The raw materials workshop is supplying raw materials necessary for producing glass by mixing sodium carbonate and feldspar in a scientific way. The Phyongsong Marble Branch Mine and the Hwangju Dolomite Branch Mine have increased the amount of mining per unit time to ensure the increased production. -0-
