Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers at the Sunchon Cement Complex in the DPRK produced thousands of more tons of cement in the first 20-odd days of the new year.

The complex has pushed ahead with the organization and command of production while solving tens of technical problems urgently needed for ensuring the full operation of kilns and improving the quality of clinker.

The raw materials supply units have improved the system of inspecting and repairing equipment and increased the operation time as compared with last year to ensure the increased production.

Workers at the Sunchon Limestone Mine are directing efforts to mass mining, and the units in charge of transporting raw materials carrying 1.2 times of materials as compared with last year.

Similar successes have been witnessed at several workshops of the complex. -0-
