Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- Workers at the Ryongsong Machine Complex in the DPRK are making innovations in the production of custom-built equipment day by day.

The technicians team of the complex has taken timely measures for technical problems arising in the current production and accelerated the technical upgrading of processing and drilling machines in close contact with a relevant unit to ensure the production in a scientific and technological way.

Workers and technicians at the Songun Cast Iron Factory are shortening the melting time by improving the performance of induction furnace and turning out quality molten iron while saving a lot of electricity.

They have increased the production of castings two times as compared with the past.

The steel casting shop No. 1 is stepping up the preparations for producing materials for large steel castings while operating the electric furnace as required by technical rules and standard regulations.

Workers of the sheet metal processing shops No. 1 and 2 are making effective use of the existing equipment to increase the production. -0-
