Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The 19th National Ssirum Contest for Grand Bull Prize took place at the national ssirum ground in Rungna Islet on Sept. 5 and 6.

Twelve players selected from each province (municipality) decided ranking through catch-weight event.

The participants, divided into four groups, played group league matches and additional games. Those who proved successful at the said games advanced into the finals and competed in knock-out matches.

Choe Tong Bom from North Phyongan Province came first in the contest.

The trophy cup, medals and diplomas were awarded to the successful players. -0-
