Performance of Youth Art Squad Given in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- A performance of the art squad of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League (SPYL) was given at the Central Youth Hall on Friday to celebrate the 76th birthday of the DPRK.

Among the audience were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the SPYL Central Committee, youth league officials and youth and students in Pyongyang.

Put on the stage were female solo "Nilliri for Single-minded Unity", national instrumental ensemble and song "We Love Our Tune Best" and other numbers.

A narrative poem "Long Live Our Powerful Country" represented our people's firm conviction that the future of the country would be always bright and rosy thanks to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who ushered in the era of our state-first principle, the era of the most dignified power in the 5 000-year-long history of the nation.

The atmosphere of performance was revved up with numbers reflecting the young people's boundless glory and happiness of being guided by Kim Jong Un valuing the youth and putting them forward as the vanguard in the general onward march for national prosperity.

The performance, pulsating with the revolutionary will of the young people to demonstrate their honor as detached force and vanguard unit of the Party Central Committee on the road of translating the plan and desire of the Party into reality, won an acclamation of the audience. -0-
