Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- It has been ten years since the Sci-Tech Complex declared its inauguration.

The complex has fulfilled its mission as a grand seat of learning for all the people and a center for disseminating latest science and technology to contribute to preparing many working people and schoolchildren to be intelligent workers and future talents.

It introduced latest artificial intelligence for putting on an unmanned basis the data management, thus providing a technical guarantee for adding millions of pieces of data to its database every year. A system of online electronic data delivery and a virtual network data transmission system were established to set up sci-tech database in various fields conducive to the country's economic development and the improvement of people's living standards.

The complex updated the website's interface on several occasions to improve the level of putting retrieval, data browsing and mode of service on an intelligent footing and developed a PDF document machine translation service system and other systems for the convenience of readers.

It introduced a comprehensive information service system and a system of collecting electronic data into regional sci-tech dissemination bases and developed a data browsing system and a sci-tech dissemination management support system for sci-tech dissemination bases in various sectors and units.

The city and county regional-industry factories, built as entities of the regional development policy of the Workers' Party of Korea, are training their employees to be able to develop new technologies while studying through the sci-tech learning network system run by the complex. -0-
