Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- The Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm in the DPRK produced thousands of more tons of vegetables than in the same period of last year.

The farm activated the operation of sci-tech learning spaces and conducted on-site technical study and passing-on technique in a planned way to make its employees meet the requirements of technical regulations according to the cultivation of varieties and the farming processes. In the course, it solved more than 10 technical problems and opened up a prospect for mass-producing fresh fruit vegetables in all seasons by raising the level of employees' technical knowledge and skills.

Employees of workteams Nos. 1, 3 and 5 have increased the yield by ensuring the scientific fertilization of nutrient solution to vegetable crops such as cabbage, cucumber and pepper and the management of environment in a responsible manner.

Those of workteams Nos. 2 and 4 have boosted productivity by introducing inter after-cropping and inter cropping, while those of the supply unit have injected vitality into the campaign for increased production by taking good care of equipment including geothermal pump and water intake pump. -0-
