Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Great Leaders

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- Servicepersons, working people and schoolchildren of the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il across the country on the occasion of the 93rd founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.

Flower baskets in the names of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries and national agencies, units of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Public Security Forces (PSF), institutions, industrial establishments and universities at all levels in Pyongyang, bouquets and flowers were laid at the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill.

Recollecting with deep emotion the immortal exploits of the great leaders who led the revolutionary armed forces step by step to record only victories and brilliant feats in the sacred history of their development from the day when their founding was declared, the visitors paid tribute to their statues.

Flower baskets in the names of institutions, enterprises and the KPA and the PSF units were placed at the statues of the great leaders in various parts of the capital city, including Kim Il Sung University and the Ministry of National Defence.

Servicepersons, working people and schoolchildren in other parts of the country visited the statues of the peerlessly great men in their residential areas to lay flower baskets, bouquets and flowers before the statues. -0-
