Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- A national children's Taekwon-Do championship was held at the Taekwon-Do Hall and the Taekwon-Do Holy House from August 5 to 12.

The championship brought together more than 430 players selected from Taekwon-Do schools under the Ryongaksan Taekwon-Do Team and provincial Taekwon-Do teams, and Central Sports School. The players competed in pattern, sparring, forte and self-defense matches.

Pyongyang Municipality came first in total standings at the championship.

Cups, medals and diplomas were awarded to the organizations which proved successful and players who displayed their high skills. -0-
