Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- The National Exhibition of Sci-tech Achievements in the Field of Furniture and Finishing Building Materials-2025 closed in the DPRK.

During the exhibition, the participants shared and transferred the successes and experience gained in the implementation of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on realizing the domestic production of finishing building materials through many-sided technical interchange.

The Chollima Tile Factory and the Taean Friendship Glass Factory were highly appreciated as they resolved sci-tech problems arising in attaining self-sufficiency of building materials and developed new finishing building materials with domestic raw materials and resources.

A closing ceremony took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on August 12.

Present at the ceremony were Kim Jong Gwan, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Jon In Chol, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, So Jong Jin, minister of Construction and Building-Materials Industry, officials concerned, officials and working people of the units that presented their exhibits.

Kim Song Bin, chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, made a closing speech. -0-
