Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The 39th Science and Technology Festival of Kim Il Sung University took place in the DPRK from February 25 to 27.

Presented to the festival on the theme "Steady increase of sci-tech power" were hundreds of valuable sci-tech achievements conducive to the economic development and the improvement of people's living standards.

The festival was held in the forms of presentation and exhibition of sci-tech achievements, exhibition contests among units and exchange of new technologies, divided into six panels including key industry, agriculture, IT and land and environment protection.

During the exhibition, new technologies and experience were shared and transferred through positive exchanges including sci-tech forum and question-and-answer session, and new research themes and directions were selected.

The rotating pennants and certificates were conferred on the units and participants who won a high appreciation. -0-
