Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The Ragwon County Offshore Farm, built as a new iconic offshore farm, has produced a large amount of scallops and seaweed.

Since its inauguration, hundreds of tons of scallops and seaweed have been produced by its employees.

The proud reality in Ragwonpho is a clear demonstration of the validity and vitality of the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea on regional development to strengthen the independent foundations of the regional economy and improve the material life of regional people by developing the fishing industry in the coastal cities and counties.

Employees of the offshore farm are boosting the production by actively conducting fishing by creating an artificial fish bank and making use of favorable conditions for attracting a large number of migratory fishes in the culture grounds. -0-
