Hygienic Campaign Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- The cultured practice in production and life has been established at industrial establishments in the DPRK with the months for autumn hygienic campaign as an occasion.

The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill worked out a plan for keeping the surrounding area clean and tidy and paved a bike road extending hundreds of meters in Chongnyon Street and is now rebuilding fences.

Employees of the Rangnang Disabled Soldiers' Essential Plastic Goods Factory and the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory painted the exterior of production buildings and repaired their roofs, and are tending lawns and trees.

Thanks to the efforts of the working people to spruce up worksites and resting places with the awareness that they are masters of the factories, the environment of the Tonghungsan Unha Garment Factory and the Wonsan Disabled Soldiers' Essential Plastic Goods Factory is improving day by day.

The Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory and the Phyongchon Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory are encouraging their employees to take part in the hygienic campaign with an attitude befitting masters, whereas the Phyongsong Bag Factory and the Hamhung Woolen Mill are managing equipment and giving face-lifting to their worksites through socialist emulation.

The mass movement for establishing the cultured practice in production and life at the Kaesong Textile Mill and the Pakchon Silk Mill has resulted in the increased production, encouraging the masses to give full play to patriotism. -0-
