Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK is directing efforts to the cultivation of crops in a scie-tech way.

Agricultural workers in the province have applied multi-element mineral fertilizer to paddy rice to activate their rooting.

They have also sprayed nutrient and growth stimulant to raise the photosynthetic ratio of crops and their resistance to unfavorable environment.

Substitute agrochemicals with high insecticidal and fungicidal effect are produced to exterminate insects in the latter half of crop growth.

Conditions favorable to the growth of crops are created through effective management of sluice gate and introduction of advanced manuring and cultivation methods. -0-
