Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province in the DPRK is pushing ahead with the preparations for operating regional-industry factories.

Kilju and Myonggan counties are building new production buildings of raw material bases. Hoeryong City and Puryong County are applying the experience and methods created in the farming of raw materials bases and cultivating Evodia daniellii Benn, oil-chestnut and other crops.

The province ensures that the selected members from cities and counties possess higher technical knowledge and skills at the best units for the normal operation of regional-industry factories.

It is also enlisting officials and workers in the tele-education system of Kim Chaek University of Technology, Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry and Chongjin University of Agriculture and training them to be practitioners who can solve the problems arising in the management and operation of the factories. -0-
