Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- Thanks to the Workers' Party of Korea's grand plan and energetic leadership to turn Pyongyang into a world-class civilized city, Saeppyol Street praising the shining feats of the soldiers who participated in the overseas military operations and a grand architectural group presenting a landscape of socialist cultural efflorescence were magnificently built in the Hwasong area.

The Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK decided as follows as regards the fact that Saeppyol Street praising forever the immortal feats of the soldiers who participated in the overseas military operations and the people's ideal city whose architectural formative art and modernity are perfectly combined were successfully built in the Hwasong area:

1. Saeppyol Street shall include the section from the Sungri Bridge to the rotary of the Hapjang River via the crossroads of Taesongsan.

2. Saeppyol-dong, Songam-dong, Hwawon-dong No. 3, Kumnung-dong No. 3 and Chonggye-dong Nos. 1, 2 and 3 shall be instituted in Hwasong District, Pyongyang Municipality.

3. The Cabinet and relevant organs of the DPRK will take practical measures to implement this decree.
