Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Pyongyang Municipality is pushing ahead with the preparations for the rural housing construction in the new year.

On the basis of this year's successes and experience, the municipality has conducted its organizational and political work to ensure that districts and counties work out feasible rural housing construction plans for the new year and make full material and technical preparations for the projects.

Rangnang District has established a well-regulated system of training skilled workers so as to train those responsible for rural construction, while revitalizing the building materials production bases, expanding their capacities and building new bases.

Samsok District, Hyongjesan District and Kangnam County are manufacturing utensils and tools and obtaining modern and efficient construction equipment, while securing aggregates, timbers and reinforcement bars needed for construction.

Ryokpho District and Kangdong County are giving precedence to the production of various kinds of building materials and fittings, while instilling into the members of their construction brigades the importance of their duties and attachment to their jobs.

And Mangyongdae, Sunan and Sadong districts make preparations to push ahead with the rural construction in the new year as planned by adding skilled workers to the construction brigades and reinforcing the material foundation. -0-
