Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- In keeping with the requirements of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on transforming all the revolutionary positions in line with the demands of the three revolutions, the officials and workers at the Tanchon Smeltery in the DPRK have kindled the fierce flames of a mass movement so as to make innovative successes in implementing the decision of the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee.

The smeltery set the long-term resolution goal and step-by-step goal for winning the Three-Revolution Red Flag and has conducted the organizational and political work purposefully so that all the employees could carry out the revolutionary tasks through a vigorous revolutionary mass movement.

In the days when the spirit of devotedly implementing the Party's policies has been fully displayed, the smeltery has developed into the country's reliable base for producing nonferrous metals leading the development of the Juche-oriented refining industry and is demonstrating its pride as a group of patriots who are dynamically advancing in the van of the struggle to implement the decision of the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee while flying the three red flags.

A meeting to award the Three-Revolution Red Flag to the Tanchon Smeltery was held on June 18.

At the meeting a decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly was read out and a citation, Order of the Three-Revolution Red Flag and Three-Revolution Red Flag were conferred on the smeltery. -0-
