Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- Schoolchildren in South Hamgyong Province, the DPRK, donated to farms in the province Sonyon farm machines they provided through the good-conduct movement.

The children's union members in the province devoted themselves to providing the farm machines, such as mobile rice combined threshers, maize combined threshers and wheat and barley planters.

A ceremony of donating them took place at Hamhung Square on October 22.

Attending the ceremony were officials concerned, officials of the youth league and schoolchildren. A donating address was made to be followed by resolution-taking speeches.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the farm machines associated with the patriotism of children's union members.

On the same day, the trucks carrying the farm machines left for farms in the province, being seen off by schoolchildren and working people in Hamhung City. -0-
