Sports Contest of Disabled and Amateurs Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- The 2024 sports contest of disabled persons and amateurs took place at the Handball Gymnasium in Chongchun Street in the DPRK from November 14 to 25.

The contest brought together more than 600 disabled persons and amateurs in Pyongyang. There were table-tennis games, divided into four categories, and tennis and badminton games, divided into three categories.

During the contest, the players fully showcased their optimistic life under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea and the state's policy of protecting the disabled, demonstrating their skills they have cultivated during their brisk sports activities.

Cups, medals, diplomas, etc. were awarded to the winners. -0-
