Rason Youth Open-Air Theatre Inaugurated in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- A youth open-air theatre has been newly built in Rason Municipality of the DPRK.

This comprehensive and modern theatre, with an auditorium, a stage, hobby group rooms, acoustic equipment and illuminators, is located in a scenic spot in Rajin District. It will serve as another extracurricular educational base, a cultural and emotional life base, for youth and students and working people in the municipality.

The inauguration ceremony of the Rason Youth Open-Air Theatre took place on the spot on Nov. 25.

Present there were Sin Yong Chol, chief secretary of the Rason Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, employees of the theatre and youth and students.

Sin Chang Il, chairman of the Rason Municipal People's Committee, made an inaugural address. -0-
