Anniversary of Phophyong Revolutionary Museum Marked

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- The Phophyong Revolutionary Museum in the DPRK marked its 60th founding anniversary.

President Kim Il Sung visited it in October Juche 63 (1974) to confirm the data on revolutionary relics one by one and clarify the principled issues to be held fast to in the work related to the revolutionary relics.

Chairman Kim Jong Il visited this revolutionary site several times and guided the work to erect the President's statue at the highest level, spruce up the site well and conduct in an effective way the education through it.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un showed great loving care and trust to the officials and employees of the museum so that they could register bigger successes in the work related to the revolutionary relics, cherishing the pride and responsibility for their duties.

The museum has creditably discharged its honorable mission of educating the Party members, other working people and schoolchildren in the revolutionary traditions of Juche, recording proud history under the energetic guidance and meticulous care of the peerlessly great men for the past 60 years since its foundation.

A meeting took place on Sunday to mark the 60th founding anniversary of the museum.
