Intellectual Property Development Exhibition Closes in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- The 2024 Intellectual Property Development Exhibition closed in the DPRK.

On display at the exhibition were more than 2 600 invention certificates, patents, trademarks, industrial design rights, copyrights, etc. of substantial significance in developing economy, science and technology and culture.

There were exchanges of excellent successes and experience gained in the efforts to usher in a new era of overall development of socialism during the exhibition.

A closing ceremony took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on October 11.

Present there were Choe Tong Myong, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Sung Jong Gyu, minister of Culture, officials concerned and officials and working people of the units which presented their products.

Diplomas were awarded to Kim Il Sung University, the Kwangchon Chicken Farm, the Samhung Economic IT Centre, and other exemplary units.

Participants, who presented excellent proposals, received relevant certificates and prizes.

Vice-Premier Jon Sung Guk made a closing address. -0-
