Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- The light industrial goods exhibition "Development of Light Industry-2025" which showed the development of the Korean light industry making rapid progress closed with due ceremony at the Light Industry Hall of the Three-Revolution Exhibition House  on October 24.

Goods suited to the aesthetic tastes and emotions of the people developed and produced by the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory, the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory, the Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory and the Taedonggang Beer Factory were favored by visitors.

Goods produced at the Pyongyang Automation Appliances Factory, the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, the Ponghwa Garment Research and Dissemination Room under the Ponghwa Trade Bureau, the Unha Taesong Foodstuff Factory, the Paekunsan General Foodstuff Factory and the Phyongsong Bag Factory showed the development of light industry making rapid progress day by day.

Various products presented by modern regional-industry factories built thanks to the cherished desire of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to further raise the material and cultural living standards of the regional people drew the attention of visitors.

Present at the closing ceremony were Han Kwang Sang, department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Myong Hun, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Jo Yong Chol, minister of Regional Industry, officials concerned and officials and working people of the entrant units and relevant units.

Diplomas, medals, certificates and prizes were awarded to units, participants and products highly appreciated at the exhibition.
