Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- South Phyongan Province of the DPRK pushes ahead with the project for creating economic forests in a far-sighted way to implement the Regional Development 20×10 Policy.

It has created more than 7 000 hectares of economic forests by strengthening the political and technical guidance to make all cities and counties create the forests of oil-bearing trees, trees for producing paper and wild fruit trees as planned in keeping with the construction of new regional-industry factories.

It is also strengthening the work to protect the precious forest resources in a three-dimensional way. -0-
