Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the salt industrial sector of the DPRK strive to provide a material and technical guarantee for next year's production.

The Kwangryangman Salt Works is concentrating efforts on the work to make salt water with priority given to the scientific water control. It is also pushing ahead with the work to keep the storage facilities in good condition during the winter season.

The Kumsong Salt Works finished the repair and maintenance of cableways and introduced an efficient water circulation system.

Similar successes have been witnessed at Namyang and Nampho salt works.

The remodeled Onchon Tile Factory is stepping up the work to revitalize production and expand its capacity.

The salt-making machine repair plant, too, increases the production of water pumps while solving the problems arising in perfecting the production line technically. -0-
