Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- "Sonyon" small tractors provided by the children's union organizations were presented to farms in South Hwanghae Province on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

A meeting for presenting the small tractors was held in Haeju City on Oct. 1.

Present there were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and members of the Korean Children's Union.

Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the youth league, made a presentation speech and a presentation certificate was handed over amid the participants' applause to be followed by resolution-taking speeches.

The speakers said that the "Sonyon" tractors are associated with the loyalty of the proud children's union members who have devoted themselves to giving pleasure to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They called upon the children's union members to make devoted efforts for the country like the children patriots of the preceding generation who contributed to the advance and development of the socialist country by providing "Sonyon" cranes, trucks and tractors.

At the end of the meeting the participants saw off the "Sonyon" small tractors heading for the fields of South Hwanghae Province. -0-
