Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- North Phyongan Province in the DPRK remade hundreds of hectares of paddy fields for fish breeding. And it is now focusing its attention on the production of fries, according to Rodong Sinmun.
The Sonsang spawning station of the provincial rural economy committee was successfully completed. And Sinuiju, Kusong and Jongju cities and Sonchon County built or rebuilt spawning grounds to suit their actual conditions.
The Sonsang spawning station and city and county spawning grounds are trying to raise the technical and skill levels and responsibility of their employees to produce more fries.
The province is taking scientific and technological measures to increase the production of fries and, at the same time, intensifying technical guidance and assistance to raise the survival rate of more than 10 million fries it has already produced. -0-
