Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex is one of the leading fertilizer production bases in the DPRK.

The complex has over-fulfilled its yearly national economic plans in recent years. This year, too, it produced thousands of more tons of fertilizer to fulfill the fertilizer-production plan for manuring year ahead of schedule.

Successes made by the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, which is making a leap forward and innovations in the spirit of self-reliance, are associated with the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who put forward the complex as the arsenal of the socialist agricultural front and showed great trust in the workers.

One day in June 2013, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the complex. He said that it seemed to see a heap of rice while watching the fertilizer piled up at the shipping workshop of the complex, adding that the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex is like an arsenal of the socialist agricultural front.

That day, the respected General Secretary set forth important tasks facing the complex, saying that the complex should produce more fertilizer in order to turn the country into the one rich in rice.

True to the instructions of the respected General Secretary, the officials and workers of the complex have made a great progress in production through a mass technological innovation movement to produce and supply more fertilizer needed for agricultural production.

The complex has built hundreds of thousands of data in its sci-tech learning space and put its operation on a normal footing. It has reduced the loss of coal and improved the capacity of equipment and processes by introducing valuable technical innovations and inventions into production, thus increasing the amount of fertilizer.

Last year, the complex was selected as one of the ten best enterprises in the country for 2023. -0-
