Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- The Wonsan General Fishing Implements Factory was inaugurated in Kangwon Province, the DPRK.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave instructions to strengthen the material and technical foundations in the fishing sector and indicated the orientation and ways for building a new fishing implements production base on the east coastal area.

The construction of the factory furnished with production buildings, office building, boarding house and welfare facilities makes it possible to lay another solid material and technical foundation for producing modern fishing implements.

An inauguration ceremony was held on Monday.

Present there were Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials and employees of the factory and working people in Wonsan City.

Song Chun Sop, minister of Fisheries, addressed the ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the factory. -0-
