Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- The rural housing construction is progressing apace in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.

Kilju County finished the framework for dwelling houses before others and is now pushing ahead with roofing and interior projects.

The Kim Chaek City Construction Brigade has made progress in improving the construction quality while meeting the requirements of design and actively applying advanced working methods.

Kyongwon and Onsong counties have carried out the daily quotas 1.5 times by increasing the proportion of mechanization in construction. And Ranam District in Chongjin City and Kyongsong County have increased the role of builders and construction supervisors to improve the quality of housing construction and public building construction while saving materials.

The Hoeryong City Wood Processing Factory, the Kilju County Paper Mill and other units in charge of the production of finishing building materials have also pushed ahead with the work to further perfect the production lines in a technical way and boost the quality and quantity of products. -0-
