Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- Thermal power plants in the DPRK boost production by giving priority to technical innovation.

The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex has carried out its daily plan by keeping each generator in full-capacity operation through application of valuable technical achievements.

The Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant installed a new device necessary for normal operation of equipment to ensure the accuracy of the production control system. And it remodeled the slag outlet to prevent the penetration of cold air and raise the combustion efficiency of boiler.

The Sunchon Thermal Power Plant introduced an advanced method for improving the performance of equipment while reducing the steam loss at turbines.

The same is true of the Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant and the East Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant. -0-
