Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- Forestry stations, mine timber production stations and dozens of timber felling stations under the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau of the DPRK have carried out their yearly plans for the timber production.

The Hwaphyong Forestry Station was the first to fulfill the timber-production plan, and transported all the timbers by raising the operation rate of vehicles, finishing its yearly timber-production plan by the end of March.

The Songgan Forestry Station and the Songgan Pulpwood Production Station introduced various efficient working methods to record high results.

The Sujol Timber Felling Station under the Kasan Mine Timber Production Station and Soyang and Chonsang timber felling stations under the Tongsin Mine Timber Production Station have over-fulfilled their daily plans.

Timber felling stations under Huichon and Wiwon mine timber production stations transport timbers in time by making effective use of topographical conditions.

The timber felling stations under the Songwon Mine Timber Production Station are also increasing the transport capacity. -0-
