Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- The Third Festival of Architectural Information Modeling Technology was held from October 28 to 30 under the sponsorship of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Architects Union of Korea.

The festival, themed "The period of great prosperity in construction and rapid development of advanced architecture technology", was attended by officials, teachers, researchers and designers of the Pyongyang City Design Institute, Pyongyang University of Architecture and the Green Architecture Technology Trading Company.

Presented to the festival were scores of valuable proposals studied and completed by scientists and technicians through their brainstorming campaign to implement the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on bringing about a fresh change in Juche-oriented architecture.

Appreciated at the festival were such proposals as the cooperative designing method by use of the program of our style, architecture information integrated modeling of green architecture-type buildings, Korean-style roof designing support program and three-dimensional design of equipment for producing pre-fab light parts as they are of great practical significance. -0-
