Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- The chemical industry of the DPRK is directing big efforts to the revitalization of production and the readjustment and reinforcement project at industrial establishments.

The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex has increased production by finding effective ways to shorten the operation cycle of gas producers and raise their efficiency. And it is operating all machines according to standard rules to produce a lot of fertilizers.

Workers of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex have abided by the raw material mixing proportion and conducted the check of equipment in a responsible manner.

The February 8 Vinalon Complex is concentrating on such readjustment and reinforcement projects as variety expansion, building of salt-making lines and mine development, while raising the operation rate of major production equipment.

The Sunchon Chemical Complex has made high results in the production of nutrient solution for greenhouse farms while making technical preparations to establish a new line of processing and packing agricultural chemicals.

Officials and workers of the Sinuiju Chemical Fibre Mill, the Ponghwa Chemical Factory and the Myonggan Chemical Factory are striving to increase the productivity through a brisk mass movement. -0-
