Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- Officials and teaching staff of Pyongyang Teachers Training College celebrate the anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's field guidance at the college.

On January 16, 2018, Kim Jong Un visited the newly-remodeled Pyongyang Teachers Training College and showed his deep trust, hoping that it would successfully fulfill its mission in implementing the policy of bringing about a radical improvement in education in the new century.

With the honor and happiness of the day, the officials and educators of the college have made many successes in improving the educational contents and methods and developing and introducing modern educational means.

The educational aid programs based on VR and augmented reality technologies were highly appreciated at national exhibitions of IT successes. The college was honored with the title of top ten IT model unit in 2018 and 2022 and 2024.

It also produced holders of new teaching method certificates, October 8 Model Professors, holders of academic degrees and those who speak several languages.

The function and role of its retraining faculty have been consistently strengthened to successfully ensure the retraining of teachers from primary schools and kindergartens in Pyongyang and from teachers training colleges across the country.

Officials and teaching staff of the college are now making a dynamic advance for new creation, out of the mind to take the lead in implementing the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea with their pride and honor of working at the glorious college associated with the leadership exploits of the Party. -0-
