Taean Heavy Machine Complex Increases Production of Custom-built Equipment

Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex in the DPRK are achieving successes in the production of custom-built equipment.

The complex introduced more than ten valuable inventions and technical innovations conducive to improving the performance of equipment and the quality of products, thus providing a guarantee for boosting production.

Workers and technicians of the sheet metal processing workshops for generating equipment and custom-built equipment are fulfilling their responsibility for manufacturing the equipment necessary for the establishment of C1 chemical industry.

The processing workshop no. 1 for generating equipment and the large machine workshop improved the performance of machines to raise their operation rate and the quality of processed products. The reducing gear workshop, too, introduced rational jigs and equipment to boost the production.

The workers and technicians of the assembly workshops for generating equipment and custom-built equipment are fulfilling their scheduled assignments while applying advanced working methods.

Technicians and skilled workers of the complex, including the April 15 Technical Innovation Shock Brigade and the technical development department, are solving the sci-tech problems arising in the design of various circuit boards and the manufacture of control switchboards by their own efforts and injecting vitality into implementing the plan. -0-
