Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Agricultural workers across the DPRK are putting spurs to the efforts to successfully conclude this year's farming.

South Hwanghae Province is taking necessary measures to preserve rice-sheaves from getting wet by rain and mobilizing all vehicles to transport them to threshing grounds.

South Phyongan Province is threshing rice while organizing shifts and transport rationally.

North Hamgyong Province is harvesting rice at the final stage.

The agricultural workers in North Hwanghae Province, Kangwon Province and other parts of the country are striving to finish harvesting and threshing rice in the shortest time.

Rice harvesting is carried out at 83 percent across the country and successes are being expanded in transporting and threshing rice. -0-
