Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- Trade union officials from across the DPRK started a study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu.

They held a kick-off meeting of the study tour at the plaza before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in Hyesan City on February 24.

The participants laid a flower basket and bouquets before the statues of the great leaders and paid tribute to them.

At the meeting speakers called on the members of the study tour group to cherish the revolutionary will of the heroic Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il working class to go along the sacred road of the Juche revolution to the end, following the forerunners who provided the noble tradition of loyalty and unity in the pioneering period of the Korean revolution, during their study tour of the battle sites of Mt Paektu

After the meeting, the members of the study tour group went round the Ryanggang Provincial Revolutionary Museum and the Monument to the Victorious Battle of Pochonbo. -0-
